Bloody Moon

This is how the moon was visible from Athens, Greece on the 29th of june. This happened because of the fire in "the mountain of Athens", Parnitha.
Seeing the moon having this bloody colour is quite spectacular (spectacular), but thinking of what happened and it's like that it's very depressing.

The fire in Athens burnt about 25.000 sq mtrs of forest in the mount of Parnitha. That forest was (was cause now there has been left only a very small part of it 25000 burnt out of 38000) a national park. The disaster is enormous and the climate changes in the area of Attica and Athens will be seen quite soon.

In Pilio, the fire is still burning in Neohori, Kalamaki and Milies. 123 firemen are trying to put out the fire having with them 49 ladder trucks and 100 soldiers. Also two plains and a helicopter are trying to put out the fire in Neohori and Kalamaki and three more plains and a helicopter in Milies.

In Aghia of Larissa the fire is still on and burning and also is burning in Melivoia, where 116 firemen with 36 ladder trucks and a 100 soldiers and 5 plains are trying to put it out.

Other fires are burning in many places through out Greece in Thessaloniki, Eleysina, Kalamaki and many more places.
